Your Story – Childrens Chronicles Competition

Our Childrens Chronicles Competition has ended today. We do not usually post on a Friday but it is the End of our Competition. This is the entry we have picked for the win.

‘During my Christmas Holidays, there weren’t much activities we could do outside because of Covid-19. Instead we had to do lots of activities inside our house.

During our holidays we, baked some chocolate chip biscuits and used cookie cutters to make all sorts of things. We also baked cakes, smothered icing and sprinkled sprinkles on the top of it. These were very tasty!

I also watched some movies, (these are a few of them) Christmas Chronicles 2, Klaus and Innocent Moves. Innocent Moves was one movie about a boy brilliant at chess. Speaking of which, I played chess with my family the very next day. The game was a draw although he says he won, but you can’t now debate with a Year Three child. Me and my mum played a serious game of chess after watching Innocent Moves. She was very tired lying down on the sofa, but in the end I had won.’
