He has only scored 2 premier league goals and Alexandre Lacazette leading with only 3. Their 3rd highest goal scorer is a defender called Gabriel who scored against Fulham (W 0-3) and Wolves (L 1-2).
If you compare these numbers to Newcastle United, Callum Wilson (who was newly relegated with Bournemouth) has scored 7 goals this season. More so, if you compare this with ‘title rivals’ Tottenham Hotspur, their top goal-scorer is Hueng-Min Son with 10 and their second highest Harry Kane with 9.
There is also no creativity with Willian chipping in with 2 assists this whole season. If you compare this with Leeds United Jack Harrison has 3. There is a solution to this though. The January Transfer window is coming, but Arsenal should not buy a new signing as they already have one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
Mesut Ozil was left out of the premier league squad meaning he cannot play in the Premier league. As of yet we do not know why, but we do know he would improve the way Arsenal are Playing. So in the January Transfer Window, Mikel Arteta will need to put Ozil back in the team, or who knows they might just be relegated for the first time in over 20 years.
