Blackpink is one of the most famous k-pop girl groups. Blackpink has over 18,000,000 monthly listeners on spotify. On their Youtube they have over 44 million subscribers. Blackpink Came Back with ‘How you like that’ which is a catchy song and has a great dance to go along with it. The girls of Blackpink Are under YG entertainment and were the first ever k-pop groups on Coachella leading the way of k-pop in America. Blackpink are set to have a comeback on the 2nd October with Selena Gomez. This is not the first time they have had a collaboration with A pop star. They had a Collaboration with Dua Lipa with ‘Kiss and Makeup’ and with Lady Gaga with the song ‘Sour Candy’.
2. BTS
BTS is a boy-band under Big Hit Entertainment. BTS has Over 13,000,000 monthly listeners on spotify and has 34.4 million youtube subscribers. Like blackpink BTS has also had collaborations with western artists like Paul Mccartney and Chris Martin. BTS debut in 2013 with ‘No more Dream’. Since then BTS has become the fastest growing band since the beatles in the late 1960’s. BTS has 7 members in their late 20’s.
3. Twice
Twice From JYP Entertainment was made from a JYP survival show called Sixteen. Made up of 9 members, , Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. Twice debuting in October of 2016 have kept on releasing Songs after Songs like:
‘Fancy’
‘Feel Special’
‘TT’
And More.
